EXHIBIT C — COMPLAINT LETTER
Received: March 9, 2026 (fictional)
From: Avery Lane, buyer

To the Real Estate Commission:

(C-1) On March 2 I saved a screenshot of the living-room photo from the listing app. The caption said the furniture was virtual, and I understood that. But the listing said the pendant light shown was included. I asked Morgan about the light on March 3 and made an offer on March 4 without seeing the room.

(C-2) On March 7 I walked the room. It had a dome light, not the pendant. There was no crown molding at the ceiling. The walls were blotchy, and the floor had dark patches where the rug had been in the picture. The room felt smaller than it looked online. I did not measure it.

(C-3) I have put my screenshot above my own photo from the visit and attached it. I want to know what the listing actually promised, which light was being sold with the house, and whether the picture changed more than the furniture.

For the fictional narrative, the upper view is assigned to the advertisement and the lower view to the buyer's visit. Neither role, date nor the buyer's authorship of the composite is authenticated. The complaint does not establish a loss amount, a completed sale or intentional deception.
